Choosing your first toy, without the guesswork
A few useful questions before you make your first choice.
Your first purchase does not need to be the most complicated or expensive option. Start with your preferences, your budget, and the information the manufacturer can actually provide.
Begin with how you want to use it
Think about solo or shared use, external or internal use, and whether you prefer a simple control layout. Size and shape matter more than the number of modes listed on a box. Read actual measurements rather than judging scale from a photograph.
Ask for clear product information
Look for a named material, cleaning instructions, a charging method, and meaningful warranty information. A vague phrase such as premium material is not a substitute for a material specification. Verify claims such as waterproof against the manufacturer's instructions.
Make room for comfort
Use a lubricant that is compatible with both the product and your intended use. Check the manufacturer's guidance rather than assuming all materials and lubricants work together. Stop if something hurts or causes irritation.
Give yourself time
There is no universal best product and no result you are required to achieve. Choose at your own pace. This is general information, not medical advice; ask a qualified professional about persistent pain or other health concerns.
